“Simple Tip for Curly Hair: If it is raining or humid outside, as you are jumping out of the shower, just rinse your hair with cool water for about 10 seconds. Cool water helps avoid freezy hair because it closes down the cuticle. Moisture is kind of “locked in”. Then add your hair products as usual.”
